Description
This is a Generic "sure grip" reinforced TORX T-10 screwdriver.
Additional Information:
To prevent over-tightening, TORX heads were designed to prevent "cam-out" (a process by which a screwdriver slips out of the head of a screw being driven once the torque required to turn the screw exceeds a certain amount). The reason for this was the development of better torque-limiting automatic screwdrivers for use in factories. Rather than rely on the tool slipping out of the screw head when a torque level is reached, thereby risking damage to the driver tip, screw head and workpiece, the driver design achieves a desired torque consistently.
