Description
This is an ON Semiconductor compact LED driver evaluation board. Its part number is NCL30100ADLMGEVB. The NCL30100ADLMGEVB evaluation board illustrates how the NCL30100 can be embedded in the base of an MR16 LED light bulb. Using a dual sided PCB and a low voltage AC rectifier it accepts 12 VAC which is commonly used in MR16 applications. The NCL30100 is a compact switching regulator controller for constant current LED drivers. Based on peak current, quasi-fixed off time control architecture and optimised for continuous conduction mode step down (buck) operation. The output filter capacitor is therefore not required. The board has multiple FET footprints to give you a choice of FET including SOT23, SOT363, SOT223 and as built, a TSOP6. It comes as pictured and does not include any additional parts or accessories.
